Slowly reforming the U.S. into a one-man authoritarianism

It is a widely known fact that Mr. Trump has no manners, his masochism has no limits, his narcissism has evolved to malignant narcissism, his diplomatic skills are non-existent, and, but not least, he has no idea how to lead a nation. With this, it seems that the American people are slipping into authoritarianism without even realizing it.

According to news media channels and the latest social media posts, the ex-president has stepped up his campaign by throwing around insults and accusations. One could ask, is Trump the president the U.S. needs or the one the MAGA wants? However, if it is to be, who is anybody to question the American voter’s wisdom to make America Great Again?

Trump’s awkward behavior and blurs have certain appeal among the GOP voters. The latest Gallup shows that Trump is leading by a thin margin. However, in 2020, people rejected Trump’s divisive fanaticism. History might repeat itself if he doesn’t take a more reasonable approach to the election and presidency and show respect to the voters and, generally, the American people.

What could it mean if Mr. Trump gets elected to a second term?

During his first term, Mr. Trump already gave a foretaste of forthcoming changes.

First, the foreign aid to Ukraine would stop or cut to a bare minimum. He would not be willing to support Ukraine’s never-ending war without any prospect of a return of America’s taxpayer’s dollar.

The south border would be completed with an impenetrable wall, and border troops would have more extensive powers to stop illegal immigration. This would include the use of deadly force.

The gun laws would be refined and made more favorable for the big guns, such as AR-15.

If Trump wins a second term, he may use the legal system to retaliate against his accusers, potentially undermining democracy.

The way that the United States conducts its foreign policy could change in significant ways. One such change could be the country’s withdrawal from NATO, leaving Europe to defend itself without U.S. support.

Additionally, federal institutions would be brought under the control of the White House, and Trump would use them to further his malicious agenda.

Obamacare would be dissolved. Trump tried this in 2017 but failed to cut off subsidies to low-income. Instead, the health plans and states quickly reformed their strategies and were able to grow government subsidies upwards of $20 billion per year.

These were just a few samples that might be implemented during his second term. This should be a wake-up call for Republicans and Democrats alike, as those changes would affect all Americans regardless.

The impact of Trump’s policy changes on a global scale.

Make America Great Again will display a more significant role in his second term, as foreign trade relations and deals would favor more American economics than rebuilding them to pre-Coronavirus level.

Mr. Trump has a keen interest in countries like North Korea, Russia, China, and Turkey, as well as their respective leaders. These countries eagerly await his inauguration, expecting their relationship to rise to a new level. They will likely induce Trump with flattery and lucrative trading deals. This also means that regional conflicts may receive less attention, making it easier for these countries to oppress their opposition, whether foreign forces or local political opposition.

Ukraine’s ongoing war with Russia could result in various outcomes. Ukraine may be compelled to accept a peace agreement where Russia retains control over the occupied territories, including the Crimean Peninsula, thus avoiding the never-ending war.

To summarize, if Mr. Trump becomes the 47th president of the United States of America for a second term, the future world will be different. However, it is uncertain whether these changes would negatively impact the welfare of the American people. The global effects of these changes will continue to be observed for years.
