How does the EU Commission president, Ursula von der Leyen, keep clinging to power when several international politicians face repercussions for their actions and are forced to leave their positions and pushed out of their offices?
Given that the EU Commission leader has faced numerous accusations of political bias, an official investigation into misuse of power and corruption, poor leadership, and a decline in human rights within Europe, it is surprising that she remains in her position as the president of the EU Commission. With such a long history of criticism and accusations against her, it seems there must be more significant forces keeping her in office.
Another more plausible reason is the complaisant attitude of the people in Europe. Their societies are often prosperous, making them less interested in rocking the boat, in this case, the European Union. After all, the European Union as an institution is supposed to offer them economic security and keep them safe.
What will it take for the citizens of Europe to rise to barricades and demand changes and justice? It would not surprise anybody if, amidst the EU’s ongoing warmongering and warlike preparations, led by the EU Commission president, Ursula von der Leyen would lead the EU to war or in some other form of serious confrontation with its neighbor.
Whatever the issue, the team behind her works efficiently, keeping her in power and out of court against the odds.
