The sins of the fathers define the new Europe

“Limiting the constitutional rights of its citizens is the moment when the government’s authority over its citizens ceases to exist and paves the way for disorder and resistance.”

One nation at the time, the world is falling before Zionism, giving it unlimited powers to govern, declare, and make laws favorable for its cause: total annihilation of those who dare to resist. For decades, the United States has been a playground for Israeli lobbyists. The U.S. lawmakers have created laws and enforced policies favorable to foreign powers, leaving the US Senate just a shadow of the envisioned principles of the founding fathers. The once vibrant and courageous Senate became a puppet for religious upheaval and is now just a shadow of its former glory.

The law that rendered the Constitution obsolete

Recently, Germany adopted an antisemitism law prohibiting anyone from speaking, acting, or otherwise discrediting Israel. Whether people do it through criticizing the decades-long apartheid system or just announcing their support for the nations targeted by Israel’s far-right government, there is no “red line” the German authorities aren’t allowed to cross to enforce the new law, and that is just the beginning. Soon, there will be laws in Germany prohibiting a color combination depicting the Palestinian flag, red-green-white, as it would represent support for the oppressed people and against Zionism, thus regarded as antisemitism.

The next forbidden area is clothing. The keffiyeh will become a banned piece of clothing, and people will not be allowed to wear it publicly or in social media posts, thus contributing to the underground movement and resistance.

Weaponizing football

A few days ago, the supporters and fans of the Israeli FC Maccabe were targeted in the Netherlands for their provocative action before and after the match against Ajax, which led to unrest. However, riots have always been part of European football, where fans show their support for their teams. Although they have occasionally caused severe injuries and damage, it is unheard of for any nation to prepare to send troops to foreign soil to protect football hooligans. The question remains: has Israel weaponized football to spread further and defend its government’s policies in the field of sports?

Since the recent uprising in the Middle East, several football clubs have openly expressed their support for Palestine and Lebanon. Under Germany’s new antisemitism law, these actions are considered illegal on German soil. How the German authorities will respond during the next matchday remains to be seen. Will they prohibit these teams and their many fans from entering Germany? Arresting the entire fanbase and hundreds of supporters could be difficult and would only lead to violence. German authorities have yet to establish a clear “red line.”

The past is catching Europe

Decades afterward, the reminiscence of the World War II era, when the Nazi regime ruled Europe with an iron fist, serves as a reminder of the suffering and deaths of millions. Germany, grappling with its past, seems to allow certain ideologies to exploit the historical atrocities it committed. As a result, German politicians are adjusting their policies to atone for the sins of their fathers, which has led to a struggle to maintain the crumbling of democracy in Europe. The lawmakers caused more unrest and continued police brutality in Germany but did little or nothing to prevent the spread of authoritarianism in the new future of Europe.

The European leadership has shown their unwavering support for countries committing war crimes and human rights violations. Current leaders and their governments have paved the way for a Europe, where constitutional rights are a thing of the past and future leaders can rule with an iron fist regardless of humanitarian values.

Governments and their leaders are unwilling to stop the “snowball effect” sweeping across the European Union, which threatens to strip away the last remnants of democracy and humanitarian values from its citizens. Today, the leaders are blinded by their greed and political ambitions. Short-sighted views and unwillingness to see the inevitable will plunge tomorrow’s Europe into an abyss of suffering and demise.
