How to make any leader squirm in her existence? Don’t invite her to your inauguration.
That’s what the U.S. president-elect, Donald Trump, did, which hurts Ursula von der Leyen @vonderleyen more than anything. Her importance in world politics took the most severe blow. Finally, she should realize that she is not that important after all.
Unfortunately, von der Leyen is the leader of the EU Commission, which sends the most dreadfully possible message to the international community: the European Union is just not that important.
Are Europeans truly satisfied that one of the most influential presidents undermines the EU’s importance in world politics? As if it weren’t enough that she failed to show strength before a direct threat against one of the EU member states, she has refused to delegate her powers while being incapacitated to lead the European Union.
How long will Europeans ignore the fact that Ursula von der Leyen is not the leader Europe deserves? How long have the members of the European Union continued ignoring her incompetence? If she had depicted the same incompetence in any major corporation, she would have faced consequences and been dismissed as CEO. However, this is not the case in the EU, where political favoritism overshadows the well-being of its citizens.
Ursula von der Leyen’s pretentious presence makes the European Union look weak and incompetent. His pathetic incapability to lead one of the strongest economies in the world needs to be confronted immediately.
