Tony Blair, with his close ally and partner in crime, George W. Bush, misled the entire international community into believing that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. In the end, nothing was found.
Now, the question is: How can any self-respecting world leader trust him? After getting kicked out of UK politics and losing his chances to become the president of the European Commission, he made it his life’s work to start advising others how to harness the tech revolution and change how government works for the better. Quite intriguing.
“TBI hosted a roundtable with leaders & policymakers from EU institutions.”
The future of the European Union might just not be what we expect after “Bliar’s” intervention. One thing is sure: the U.S. influence in EU affairs will increase. There is no doubt that Blair is using his close connections within the U.S. intelligence community to divert the EU’s interest more closely towards the CIA and NSA. Blair is selling the EU products but fails to explain what it entails and the accountability it carries with it.
One of the fundamentals of TBI, “A government that is open to deep partnership with the private sector, boosting innovation,” is implementing just that. With this idea, he is opening the door for his close allies, the NSA and UK intelligence communities and its close associates.
Ironically, in an interview with the Financial Times, “Bliar” specified: “I want [the institute] to be entrepreneurial, agile and give governments good solid advice.”
However, we all know what happened in 2003.
