NATO’s unease against the peace in Ukraine.

The former president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, makes various comments, but few pay attention, mainly because… to phrase it gently… he lacks significance. His opinions don’t hold weight on a broader scale. Also, the purpose of his presence in Munich remains unclear.

Today, the Munich Security Conference should be about the Ukrainians’ desire to bring peace to the region and allow the Ukrainians to start a new era of peace and prosperity. Instead, the shadowy forces that attempt to hinder its occurrence are what prevent it.

Ukrainians must rally behind a new, robust government and begin rebuilding from the ground up. With peace within reach, Ukrainians must act now, ushering in a new chapter for the nation. They must empower the populace to make choices that indeed count. To continue with the old regime, which has consistently declined to start the path to recovery, would only mean prolonged suffering and loss of sovereignty.

It is not for the European Union to decide whether the Ukrainians should have peace or continue their fight against the much more powerful superpower, nor is it for the European leaders to tell what is best for Ukraine. It is all for the Ukrainians to choose the way they think is best.

It was never about Ukraine but all about the mineral resources and geopolitics.

From the beginning of the war, it became clear that the Western coalition didn’t want peace or a quick resolution to the conflict. Numerous efforts to reach an amicable resolution were rebuked and shunned for one singular reason: to make Russia pay and force the Russian Federation onto its knees by imposing more pain and sanctions Russians could foster. By now, all, even those most vocal advocates for war and instability in Europe, have realized that Russia was never to be beaten by ordinary means and puny sanctions. Instead, western financial and research institutions have admitted that Russia is today more assertive than before the war began in Ukraine, meaning in layman’s terms, the West has failed, once again, to beat the all-mighty Russian bear.

It has become clear that the West has once again become the victim of its demeanor and the arrogance it imposes on others. The phrase “go into battle with all guns blazing” became the downfall of the Western brotherhood called NATO. It started and continued something it didn’t have the resources for, and the weakest and newest members, like Finland, went along with it. Let’s get real. What other choice did they have?

Ukraine War 2022-2025 will become another thorn in the Brotherhood’s long history of blunders. It will become a notorious example of what not to do. War academies worldwide will study this period for decades to understand why the NATO leadership was incompetent and underestimated the powers it was and continues to be against. These four years demonstrate the broken politics among the NATO members and their commitment to their cause. They will also play a significant role in defining the future powerplay between power and influence on a global scale.

One thing is clear: those who continue mongering wars will continue to do so, and those who oppose will be rebuked and shunned.
